MathTopia Academy was founded by Dr. Sinan Kanbir who has 20 plus years of K-12 and higher education
mathematics teaching experience. We believe that all students can learn mathematics and achieve their
academic goals. We also support that mathematics learning is a process of constructing meaning to make sense
of concepts.
MathTopia’s research-based teaching focuses on developing students’ deep understandings of mathematical
concepts, proficiency with key skills, and ability to work with complex problems. K-12 students are offered
online-live- courses taught by dedicated and experienced instructors with dynamic teaching assistants.
