Andrew Carratu
Instructor for AIME & USAMO
Andrew Carratu is a freshman at MIT majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science (Course 6-3). He is a 2025 USAMO Gold Medalist (3rd place nationally) and one of the top young competition mathematicians in the country.
His competition record includes USAMO qualifications in 2024 (Grade 11), 2023 (Grade 10), and 2022 (Grade 9), with AIME qualifications dating back to 2021 (Grade 8). He earned a Silver Medal at the 2024 Romanian Master of Mathematics and consistently ranks among top competitors at the Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament (HMMT).
Beyond competitions, Andrew creates advanced video solutions for AMC and AIME problems and serves as an Instructor for AIME & USAMO at MathTopia Academy, mentoring future national-level competitors.
