Sinan Kanbir, Ph.D.

Dr. Kanbir holds an Associate Professorship at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he instructs pre-service teacher courses for elementary, middle, and secondary school mathematics. He has authored and co-authored eight books, in addition to numerous publications that delve into teaching and learning mathematics. Dr. Kanbir is passionate about developing materials tailored for K-12 students across all grades. Beyond his academic contributions, he spearheads and instructs math circles and summer math camps. He further extends his expertise by crafting items for the Central Wisconsin Math League (CWML), MathCON, and the WMC State Math Contests
